Clifton, a multi-generational mineral owner, brings extensive leadership experience and a combined background in law and agribusiness to the Valor team. He has managed oil and gas assets for numerous investors including family offices, high-net-worth individuals and private equity firms. Clifton previously practiced oil and gas law in Midland, Texas, where he drafted and negotiated oil and gas title opinions, leases, purchase and sale agreements and other contracts. Clifton earned his undergraduate degree from Abilene Christian University and his law degree from the Georgetown Law School.

Joseph has acquired and managed thousands of oil and gas interests during his career. He brings extensive experience in oil and gas exploration, production, development and management and is a Certified Mineral Manager (CMM) and a Certified Professional Landman (CPL). Joseph received his BBA and MBA from Baylor University, where he played football. Joseph was appointed to the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists and he serves as director of the National Association of Royalty Owners — Texas. He was named one of Oil and Gas Investor Magazine’s “Top 20 Under 40” and was featured in the Dallas Business Journal’s “Who’s Who in Energy.”
Co-Founder, CEO, CTO
John is well-versed in business, geology and energy and is a Certified Mineral Manager and Registered Professional Landman. With experience as a fourth generation mineral rights owner and acquisitions landman, John has put his entrepreneurial skills to good use. His expertise was recognized in the inaugural class of the Fort Worth Business Press “20 In Their 20's.” He is a member of the Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate, and is a board member at the Fort Worth Petroleum Club. John received his BA in entrepreneurial management and BS in applied geoscience with a minor in energy technology management from Texas Christian University.

Liz brings a number of talents to the Valor team with expertise in operations, strategic planning, marketing, and customer service. She previously served as regional director for one of YPO's (formerly Young Presidents' Organization) largest regions in addition to other managerial roles over her 13-year tenure. As regional director she facilitated over 30 strategic planning sessions and oversaw the expansion and development of four new markets in the region as well as two additional emerging markets. Prior to YPO, Liz worked in commercial real estate property management. Liz obtained a bachelor's degree in history with a minor in business from Texas A&M University.
Director, Operations and Human Resources
Matt possesses 15 years of oil and gas industry experience that ranges from working as a landman to owning and managing minerals. He held managerial landman positions at King Operating, King Royalty, and Equinor (formerly Brigham Exploration/Statoil). Matt’s primary focus has been on the land management side of business, including mergers, trades, acquisitions and divestitures in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and North Dakota. He also has experience in leasing, preparing units for drilling opportunities and managing the acquisition and development of mineral packages. Matt obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ashford University.
Director, Land and Project Management
Adam is a Certified Public Accountant with experience in public accounting as a financial statement auditor for publicly and privately held clientele in the oil & gas, manufacturing, distribution and healthcare industries. After moving into industry accounting, he worked with a rapidly growing start up to develop first time financial and accounting processes, controls and various reporting packages. Adam is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs as well as the American Institute of CPAs. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in finance from Oklahoma State University as well as an additional bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma.

Jason Beck is a Certified Professional Landman and Certified Trust and Financial Advisor with extensive experience in servicing Trusts, Agencies and Foundations over his career. He was the Executive Director and Regional Manager of Mineral Asset Management for JPMorgan Chase for 17 years and oversaw all areas of mineral management. Jason received his BS from West Texas A&M University in Agricultural Business & Economics and holds a Petroleum Land Practice certification from Texas Christian University.

Libby is a Senior Revenue Accountant for Valor, using her background in business and communications to her advantage. She began her energy industry experience as a financial accountant at CrownQuest Operating, LLC, a private oil and gas company in Midland, TX. Libby holds a bachelor’s degree in communication studies with a minor in general business and child development from Texas Christian University.

Dustin brings a diverse background to the team with his experience in sales, project management and talent recruitment. He built strong leadership and relationship skills as an All-American collegiate quarterback. Dustin obtained a Behavioral Sciences degree from Hardin-Simmons University and enjoys volunteering and giving back through a variety of community service projects.
Mineral Manager
Bonita serves as a Revenue Analyst and brings over 20 years of knowledge in the oil and gas industry. She began her professional career in 1997 at XTO Energy, formerly Cross Timbers Oil Company. Bonita previously held an Associate Lease Analyst role and various positions in XTO Energy’s Records, Obligations and Lease departments. Bonita is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is one of the authors of Soul Source.
Revenue Analyst
T.C. has more than a decade of experience as a landman. He is experienced in title examination and has focused on negotiating land transactions throughout his career. He has been the leading leasing landman for one of the country’s largest wind energy providers and has negotiated countless transactions in the oil and gas industry as well. He assists Valor clients with title examination and in obtaining the most advantageous terms possible in any of their mineral and/or surface transactions. T.C. holds a BS in agronomy and range science from Abilene Christian University.

Skye has spent seven years as a landman working with Charbonnet Land Services and Waggoner Osborne Land Services. Focused on title work, mineral acquisition, and leasing in the Permian and Delaware Basins. Skye has also worked as a Specialty Asset Manager in the oil and gas division of Bank of America. Active member of the AAPL. Skye has a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from the University of North Texas.
Mineral Manager
Carson has been a landman for nine years, focusing primarily on the Permian Basin. A majority of his experience is in title, leasing and curative work. Carson also previously served as the vice president of a private equity backed mineral and royalty fund, and has been involved in the acquisition and divestiture of thousands of acres of mineral rights and leasehold.
Mineral Manager
Dustin is a Mineral Manager based in Midland, Texas that has a vast knowledge and experience in several land functions. Prior to joining Valor, Dustin worked for one of the largest Independent Oil and Gas companies in the Permian Basin assisting with drilling and acquisition curative and due diligence across the Midland Basin. Dustin also has experience buying and selling minerals, predominantly in the Permian Basin, assisting individuals with the management of their oil and gas assets, as well as running title and acquiring leases in Texas and New Mexico. He received a bachelor’s in business administration from Texas A&M University. He is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen as well as the Permian Basin Landman Association.
